3 PEAKS FOR MAHDLO

I am PC 17408 Tosney, and I am the Neighbourhood Beat Officer for Oldham Town Centre. Mahdlo is a registered charity and state-of-the-art Youth Zone in the heart of Oldham for 8-19 year olds (up to 25 for young people with a disability).

Mahdlo aims to make a positive difference to the lives of young people by providing them with a safe and affordable place to go in their leisure time. It's a place where young people can meet with friends, try new and exciting activities and develop their skills, improve their confidence and reach their potential.

Each year, a team of volunteers complete the Saddleworth 3 Peaks to raise money for Mahdlo. Part of my role is working with partner agencies, and the work that Mahdlo does to deter young people from crime and provide innovative opportunities for young people is second to none.

On Saturday 6th July 2019, we will be taking on local landmarks Pots and Pans, Indian’s Head and Wharmton Hill for our Three Peaks of Saddleworth Challenge; the route will be challenging but rewarded by some incredible views of Oldham and beyond.
