I've raised £10000 to help fund the London Fire Brigade towards aerial rescue equipment.

The Appeal
7 members and friends of The Zetland lodge 511 will complete the 3 Peak Challenge on Saturday 14th July 2018 to raise money to purchase two extended high rise aerial vehicles for the London Fire Brigade on behalf of London Freemasons.
The Challenge
The challenge is to attempt to climb the highest mountains of England, Scotland and Wales within 24 hours. The aim is to climb each peak in turn and are driven from the foot of one mountain to the next. The three peaks are: Ben Nevis (the highest mountain in Scotland at 4409ft), Scafell Pike (the highest mountain in England at 3209ft) and Snowdon, (the highest mountain in Wales 3560ft). The total distance walked is estimated at 42 kilometres with a total ascent of 9,800 feet (3,000 m).
The Target!
The overall target for the appeal is 2.5 million pounds by London Freemasons, however the Zetland Lodge Target as a group for our donation to the cause is £10,000. We hope to achieve this by donations from members of the Zetland lodge, friends and colleagues.
Our Motivation
The funding will provide London Fire Brigade with two extended height aerial vehicles already asked for by London Fire Commissioner Dany Cotton as part of a review into the Brigade’s resources. Following the Grenfell Tower tragedy that occurred last year (June 2017) this equipment we are raising money for will save future lives in London and make the City a safer place to live.
