Weʼve raised £105 to provide a life saving defibrillator to benefit the community, residents and visitors to Newton, Hyde.
- 3rd Newton Scout Group, Cartwright, St Hyde.
- Funded on Tuesday, 29th December 2020
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We hope to purchase on a pay forward scheme, a lifesaving Defibrillator, to be installed on the outside wall of our local Scout hut on Cartwright Street. It is intended that the defibrillator will be accessible to the whole Newton community in the event of anyone suffering a cardiac arrest and needing the use of lifesaving equipment before a paramedic arrives.
You may be aware that there used to be a Defibrillator on the gym at the corner of Cartwright Street, unfortunately when the gym closed the box was decommissioned and the defibrillator was moved to an unknown address.
