Our cycling friend and 3RT brother Darren Speight, aka Daz was recently involved in a fatal accident.

We originally set up the fund to aid his recovery and support his family in the short term. With his passing the focus has changed and we want his young daughters who were dependant on Daz, to have financial security into the longer term.

3RT is working with Daz’s family to plan how this is best done. This includes working with others in the cycling community and the people who knew and loved Daz to plan a number of fund raising events which we hope will become annual events both to raise funds for his daughters but also to honour Daz’s memory.
