I've raised £5000 to help improve the playgrounds for Croscombe CofE and Stoke St Michael Primary Schools and Little Roots Pre-School.

Throughout the year the Friends of Croscombe and the PTA of Stoke St Michael primary schools carry out a wide variety of activities to raise money to help provide additional resources for both the schools and Little Roots Pre-School. As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic however, almost all fundraising events have been curtailed or cancelled.
40 for the Federation! is a fundraising walk of 42km/26m on September 25th 2021 to raise money that is needed by the schools to improve the playground experience of the children. There will be a maximum of 50 participants on the day as well as staff, parents and volunteers supporting the walkers!
There is a £10 entrance fee and a minimum fundraising target of £30 per entrant (£40 in total!). Participants are actively encouraged however, to raise as much sponsorship money as they can - with prizes available to the person who raises the most!
In addition to the Live event, we are also be offering a Virtual 40 For The Federation! event. Entrants will have from 1st September 2021 – 26th September 2021 to complete on foot the full 42k/26 miles and to upload their evidence of having completed the distance. Once again there is a £10 entrance fee and a minimum fundraising target of £30 per entrant.
