My very good friend passed away suddenly in his sleep, leaving behind his amazing wife Charlotte and their two beautiful girls, Poppy and Ayda. On 8th November 2025, myself and 2 close mates will take on 40 miles with 40kg on our backs - a challenge that’s brutal, but nothing compared to the weight they now carry every day.

This fundraiser isn’t because they’ve asked for help, but because we believe in showing love, solidarity, and community when it’s needed most. I want to raise money so i can gift them something to maybe go on holiday or do something that could even help them make some memories and enjoy time together.

Together, we can honour his memory and help carry his family forward. Every step we take is for them - and every donation, big or small, will mean the world

It’s so easy to take life for granted, to assume tomorrow will always come - but it isn’t promised. Losing him has reminded us all how precious time really is, and how important it is to stand by the people we care about. This challenge is about more than miles or weight; it’s about celebrating friendship, family, and the strength we all have when we come together.
