The Challenge of Ben Nevis materialised via the Journey I have taken with a Personal Trainer and an Elite Sports Physiotherapist, to rehabilitate myself, where all other areas have failed.

Ben Nevis in itself might not be too much of a challenge to the average person. To someone like me who suffers with Spinabifida, Scoliosis, a Tethered Spinal Cord and a Compressed Nerve, which combined, creates an unsolvable chronic pain; it will be a challenge like no other that I've ever undertaken in the history of my life so far.

Why am I doing it? - It really is simple...

** To Raise awareness to the conditions I suffer with and to show others with similar conditions, that they are not alone.

**To create a challenge that is worth fighting for, that is close to my heart, and gives me the chance to be passionate about something once again.

**To inspire people into believing that even when you exhaust all the common avenues of treatment, that its never the end, unless you say it is and to compel them to never quit, to never give up and to keep on fighting.

Lastly, to bring awareness to the services that are chronically under funded and understaffed. To give back and show a huge Thank You to the help and dedication that each of them have given to me and to the many others, every single day, in our battle to beat the odds.
