In April, I’ll be taking on HYROX — my first ever race — in support of two charities that mean an incredible amount to me.

I’m 18 months in remission from breast cancer, and this challenge feels like a powerful way to mark how far I’ve come, both physically and emotionally. Cancer changed my life, but it also showed me just how important compassion, care, and community are.

Whatever is raised will be split equally between cancer support and Chemo Unit — two services that support people and families through some of the hardest moments they will ever face.

Training for HYROX is tough, but it’s nothing compared to what so many people go through every day while living with cancer. This race is for those still fighting, those who are surviving, and those we carry with us.
