Story
The rector of St. John's has agreed to be part of a group of (crazy) individuals who seek to scale 4 peaks in 3 days, with not much sleep and lots of hours in a mini–bus that will steadily become more odorous over the weekend!
It is hoped that this challenge will raise funds that will be split between two projects. (1) The St. John's Building Fund which seeks to rejuvenate our current buildings to become a real hub for the community. (2) 'Soul Home' which is a project that is based in Uruguay that seeks to connect with those experiencing mental health issues and is a collective effort on the part of the Anglican Church to present to these people, not just another way of living, but to ultimately show people the Saviour, Jesus, who is the way to find life again in all its fullness (John 10.10).
