I've raised £2000 to help give Samuel the best opportunities and quality of life that he deserves

This is Samuel. He cannot walk. He cannot talk. He has the body of a teenager, but the mind of a toddler. I don't know if he will live or die, so I try and help him live each day as a happy, healthy and safe young man. My own health is failing me, but for Samuel, I will not fail. All his life I have fought for him as he cannot fight for himself and now I have to fight for his rights - for his future. I have dedicated my life to helping others, without a thought for myself. Pride keeps me far from that road but now I must face my pride and push it aside. For that I need your help. In phase 1, you raised enough money to send Samuel to Brainwave. We are eternally grateful for all your generous donations. For phase 2, I need to get a motor for Samuel's wheelchair. Since breaking my pelvis 2 years ago, I struggle to push Samuel, especially up hills or kerbs. It will cost between £600 & £1000 to purchase one suitable. I also need to rearrange the house so Samuel has enough room to be safe and comfortable. At the moment, it is even a struggle to get a stretcher in his room in case of emergencies! I can't stand for long but there is no room for a chair so I can sit by his bedside when he needs me there. I would like to give him room for basic furniture so I can put things away to prevent accidents and things getting lost. I would like some shelves for his beloved books and one for the machine that helps him breathe. He can't get up the stairs so he has a room downstairs but even in the hot weather, I can't leave a window open for him as it isn't safe enough. I raised the funds to have his bedroom made into a sensory room but it's so cluttered that he can't really use it properly. He is learning how to crawl again which would give him a little independence and would be great physiotherapy, but his room is so small that he would have to learn to crawl on the spot! His wetroom doubles as a downstairs loo but as that has no windows, it has to have a fan that comes on whenever the light is on. The noise of it wakes Samuel up but I have no other choice. Thankfully, Samuel is getting the funding to have a through the floor lift in so he can have his room upstairs again, leaving downstairs free for storage and physiotherapy. I will just need to sort the furniture and decorating for both rooms when it has been done.
EDITED - I also need to repair Samuel’s sensory garden flooring. Due to poor weather and tree roots, the wetpour in Samuel’s sensory garden is badly damaged. It will cost around £250+ to repair.
