I've raised £4000 to help fund a Defibrillator in memory of Vivien Piaskowski

My darling wife Viven Piaskowski suddenly passed away on the 21 of January 2022.
We lived alone in our home in a rural village in Lincolnshire. As soon as I was aware Viv needed help, I called 999 and began immediate CPR.
Although our village Defibrillator was only 20 yards and due to living alone, I was unable to get to it, to give Viv the help she so desperately needed.
As a result of that and of our location, although help did arrive 15 minutes later, sadly it was too late.
We never thought this would happen to us as many do, and had many plans for the future which were not to be.
In my darling Viv's memory, and to help if possible this terrible event from being visited on anyone else, myself and my three daughters are going to undertake the 46 mile in 19 hour Pathfinder March on 18 June 2022.
We hope to do so, my girls as a relay team and fingers crossed with my doctors approval, myself as an individual.
By doing so we hope to raise enough funds to buy an Emergency Defibrillator in Viv's memory, and at the same time make the whole UK population aware of how few defibrillators there are in our communities.
I feel my family, as many more because of this sad situation are owed lives. If we can save just one, Viv and many more will not have died in vain.
Please, please from the bottom of our hearts, support our event. We all think this will never happen to us, as Viv and I did, and now she is dead.
Ask yourself this, do you know where your nearest Emergency Defibrillator is and can you do CPR.
Thank you.
