I've raised £250 to Support 2 charities who have been struggling due to the covid restrictions and mean alot to me

As i am in my 32nd year of being a firefighter and due to retire this year I wanted to do another Charity Fundraiser. I have decided to do 500 Burpees everyday in May, wearing fire-kit. That's 15,500 in total !
I have chosen 2 charities, 1 being the Firefighters Charity who helped me out a lot with rehab after 2 ruptured discs and a fracture in my spine. Secondly I have chosen Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary. A great local attraction who, like many need some support following covid. Donations will be split 50/50. Every day I will be doing 250 burpees in the morning and 250 in the afternoon/evenings as well as dealing with the usual work commitments. Let's just say the afternoon sessions are going to be a mental battle as much as a physical.
The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. We provide independent, personalised support to thousands of people each year, and they’re not all firefighters. We exist to support all fire and rescue service personnel, whatever their role in the service. We are also here for all those who have retired, as well as for spouses and dependants.
Natureland is the perfect place to visit whatever the weather. Natureland is famous for its work rescuing and rehabilitating orphaned and injured seal pups that get washed ashore on Lincolnshire beaches. There are many attractions to be seen at the sanctuary. It costs around £40,000 a month to cover all the costs associated with feeding and caring for the animals and maintenance costs. Natureland was unable to secure the big Government funding granted to some bigger zoos so any funding from the public is greatly appreciated.
Please dig deep and give whatever you can.
