MISSION COMPLETED: Couch to 500K - visiting all the Elton Schools in England!

NEW MISSION: Couch to 7500K - visiting Elton Elementary School, in Louisiana, USA

'Team Elton’ are always looking for new ways to raise much-needed funds for our wonderful school. Due to the on-going pandemic we have had to be a little more creative with our fundraising ideas. We set ourselves a challenge of travelling the distance of 500km (550 to be exact) to ‘visit’ all the Elton schools in England. The virtual journey took us from our Elton C of E School, Cambridgeshire to Elton C of E School, Derbyshire to Elton Primary School, Cheshire to Elton Community Primary School, Lancashire, before we returned home to ‘our’ Elton C of E Primary.. So, as we can’t do much else at the moment, we have a new challenge.: we have decided to visit Elton Elementary School, Louisiana, USA (virtually of course!) and will be travelling a distance of 7500km from our own Elton.

The children will work as a team to clock up the distance in their own way: walking, running, out on their bikes, scooters or skateboards, horse riding – the choice is theirs.

Any donations you can spare will be greatly appreciated from the whole 'Team Elton' community. All monies raised are being used to purchase musical instruments and curriculum resources to support the children's learning at school.
