It was with great sadness that we heard the news that Kaiden, who we raised money for in our challenge last year, has relapsed and the cancer has returned within his spinal cord in his neck. It’s been less than 7 months since he had his end of treatment MRI, he had returned to school, was enjoying his return to normality and to now be facing this battle again seems so unfair.

Currently 9 years old, he faced this fight so bravely when he was first diagnosed in June 2022, and to be back here now, facing more chemotherapy is devastating. Surgery and radiotherapy are not an option as the risk of paralysis from the neck down is too high.

He is brave, he is strong and he is fierce and he WILL do this.

We are walking #50KforKaiden and all funds will go to his family to support them and Kaiden through this journey. All money raised will go towards making memories, payment for alternative therapies and treatment and also food and travel costs for all the many hospital visits that they are faced with.

I know times are hard, for everyone, so anything at all that you can donate is greatly appreciated, and if all you can do is share this to raise awareness then we are super thankful for that also.

Life can be so unfair, and we are just trying to make things a little more manageable for brave Kaiden and his wonderful family.
