Story
we would like to introduce you to @50byrb Founder George Angeli, who you may recognise as the owner of @richmondbarbers, was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome at age 2 and underwent a Bilateral Nephrectomy at 14. As a result of his experience with kidney disease, George has set up the amazing @50byrb, a charity with the aim to improve the lives of renal patients throughout the United kingdom, by funding direct improvements to treatment centres and raising awareness of kidney disease.
George and his family have been so deeply affected by kidney disease. Its a life changing illness, the treatment for which requires regular dialysis, ongoing plasma exchange and a lifetime of medication. However, through all this pain, George and his family make it their mission to pay tribute to the great work of the NHS and especially the staff who work so unbelievably hard. Without who, George and so many other sufferers would not be able to live the lives they do today.
George and his team believe charitable work should always have real results. Money raised will never go into a black box, but instead be used to part or whole fund medical equipment, renovation of physical spaces and facilities and the provision of necessary support to families.
Hardy-core Facebook group along with Jacquie Gilmartin and admin team Carrie Anderson and Emma Smith are raising funds in various ways with all monies donated to this cause.
