    Story

We will be walking 50 KM from Worcester to Birmingham on Saturday 4th September. That is about 10 - 12 hours of walking! Here is why we are doing it...

Did you know that 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a common mental health disorder each year? Did you know that mental ill-health is responsible for 72 million working days lost? The total cost of mental ill-health in England is estimated at £105 billion per year. Did you know that 70-75% of people with diagnosable mental illness receive no treatment at all? And 20% of young people with mental ill-health wait more than six months to receive care from a specialist.

This is where, as a non-profit organization Eeverse Events CIC plan to help.

Our "Mission Possible 1.0" is to 'Educate, Inspire and Empower'. Through future events such as 'Power of Positivity', this is exactly what we plan to do.

Educate - Specialists and professionals will use their extensive knowledge to deliver talks that educate people on developing or strengthening ways of coping with mental health difficulties.

Inspire - By having inspiring people sharing their stories of survival, PTG (Post Traumatic Growth), and courage we want to propel people from apathy to possibility. Far too often we hear of people who have lost hope and given up so it is our hope that these inspirational stories will transform the way people perceive their own capabilities and motivate them to reach new possibilities.

Empower - We want to empower people battling with their mental health to help them adopt self-determination, increase confidence in decision making and increase self-esteem.

Our "Mission Possible 2.0" is to raise lifesaving money for local charities providing mental health services to people with more serious mental health issues.

Your donations will help us to fund and facilitate our upcoming events. All profits from these events will be donated to mental health charities and start-up capital will be retained and re-used to fund the next event (and so on and so forth!).

Thank you for your generosity and we look forward to seeing you at our next event! Keep your eyes on this page and SM for updates on the walk!

    The team!

***Every sponsor will receive two free tickets to our next event. Please leave your email in a comment and we will be in touch!***

Hey guys! So unfortunately nearly everyone has had to drop out of our 50km awareness walk on Saturday, due to sickness or having to self isolate. For this reason I have made the decision to postpone the walk until we can all do it together in community and support one another. We will look at re-arranging the walk for some time in September. Thank you to everyone who has generously sponsored and supported thus far. Thank you for understanding too. I will keep you posted regarding the new date! 🙏🏻❤️
