I've raised £5000 to to help my dog with surgery costs.

We took Cali on as a rescue puppy when she was six months old. She'd had a rough first few months having been abused by her previous owners. She wasn't toilet trained or socialised with other dogs. She was petrified of men, and when I met her for the first time she barked at me and wouldn't let me near her. Luckily our other Jack Russell showed her the way and she came home for a two week trial.
She quickly settled into life and has become so much happier, dishing out licks of love whenever she can.
Sadly another tragedy struck recently that has shaken her to the core - not to mention us! We were at a friend's birthday out of town and our dog-sitter was coming back from a walk the day before we returned home. As she went to put their leads on in the park, Cali saw another dog and sprinted across the busy two-lane motorway feeder road. She got smacked on the rear end and knocked flying. Speaking to someone subsequently who saw it happen she then apparently tried to stand again and walk back across the road to the dog sitter.
She's lost a chunk out of the tip of her nose plus snapped three of the four ligaments in her back knee. Keyhole surgery (£5000) was required and they still don't know if she'll walk properly again. We just want to give this little rescue the life she deserves but sadly can't afford to pay the full amount. Please help us raise anything you can spare to give this little girl a chance at happiness.
