I've raised £200 to help fund materials and books for the new Brownies Programme.

We are the 60th Glasgow Brownies Unit, based in the East End of Glasgow. We give girls aged 7-10 a voice, a place to make friends and a chance to express themselves whilst learning life skills. We cover subjects as diverse as body acceptance, politics, the environment, community issues as well as fun stuff such as baking and cooking and arts and crafts.
As a charity, we are run entirely by volunteers and rely on a small fee from each member to fund everything from trips, to books, to arts and crafts materials. Our leaders try to offer as varied and interesting a programme as possible but this isn't always possible with our limited funds.
This year, the entire structure of the GirlGuiding Programme will change, meaning we need to buy new materials, new books and new badges for all our girls. As you can imagine, this all costs money.
If you have anything to spare, even just a couple of pounds, we'd always appreciate a donation to keep our running costs manageable. Our leaders put a lot of time and effort into voluntarily curating a diverse, interesting and exciting curriculum, and would love the chance to expand that as much as possible.
