I am doing this fundraiser after a dog walk took a dramatic twist a few weeks ago!

Some colleagues and myself had set out on a team dog walk in Dhoon Glen, and had barely made it 15 minutes in until these two rascals (Milly left, Max right - siblings!) dissapeared in the woods, not too far from the cliff edge.

We searched a while as they knew the area and we suspected had gone down to the beach - but we were only able to find Max 🤔

Fortunately, the guys at Noodles Canine Rescue dropped everything they were doing to rush immediately to the scene and quickly located Milly stranded on a cliff - all thanks to their thermal drone.

The coastguard from both Douglas and Ramsey attended for fear of a person endangering themselves trying to rescue Milly, and Milly was swiftly rescued. After a quick check over at the vet Milly was returned home safe and sound.

I wanted to do this fundraiser to say thank you to both of the services involved in the rescue of Milly, and so am going to donate 50% of all proceeds to each, for the money to go towards training, equipment, welfare or however else these services see fit.

So, I am going to cover 2 miles for each day of the month of march - or 62 miles total either walking or running 😮 if you are able to give please do!
