I've raised £1000 to Minds At War / 1968 Foundation residential care for PTSD veterans. Based in Telford, 68 Fdn have opened their doors to M@W veterans.

Veteran Royal Marine Steve Wood founder of 1968 Foundation has for years been helping homeless veterans to get their lives back on track. A warm house, food, companionship, job training and housing benefit support to get back into independent living, Steve has helped countless veterans over the years to move on from homelessness. He has now opened his doors to Minds At War to offer respite to vulnerable and suffering PTSD veterans, a place to stay for a period of days, weeks or months to focus on therapy and recuperation.
We have trained therapists locally, specialists in Combat PTSD on hand to give the support and healing to veterans that cannot get help in their own towns or city's.
We also offer a range of group activites to participate in and the opportunity to spend time at Camp Therapy in Newport, 15 minutes away.
Your donations will be used to contribute to the upkeep, food, energy bills, council tax, & veterans travel etc that the '68 Fdn has to pay to keep its doors open.
Your donations will save veterans lives. We have proved this time and again so thank you in advance for your kind and generous support.
