Weʼre raising £100 to go to SKIP (Students for Kids International Project)
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
As a group of six we are raising money for the charity behind our volunteering trip this Summer. Whilst we are raising money on the side for our own travel expenses we also want to contribute something to the charity itself so they can continue their fantastic work. The money will be spent on various things in the community of Kibaha, Tanzania, such as school uniforms for children who cannot afford it.
Together we plan to walk, run, swim, cycle, row or “travel” by any means necessary the 7000 miles between the UK and Tanzania. Not only will this make us physically fit for the trip but we will earn some money on the way! Mileage updates will be added onto our Facebook Page frequently.
Please consider donating to the charity via this page or to our individual fundraisers via our personal facebook pages. We are competing with another group to raise the most money for the charity so every little bit counts!
