I've raised £300 to to help our Scout group to continue to grow and to enable us to keep providing exciting and adventurous activities to our young people.

70th Woodside Village Community Scouts group is located in the middle of Woodside in Bradford. We're a new group (in Scouting terms, anyway!) and have been providing exciting and adventurous activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts since January 2014.
These activities are essential to the children, enabling them to experience things they might not otherwise be able to; as well as providing an opportunity for them to work on vital skills such as communication, team work and making new friends.
Three of our Beaver leaders, Antra (Hedgehog), Debbie (Fox) and Kelly (Mouse) have committed to raising funds to enable us to keep offering these activities at a minimal cost to parents and carers.
On 14th October 2017, Antra, Debbie and Kelly will walk 45km (27m) along Skipton Canal to Salterforth, before turning around and heading back to finish back at Skipton. Walking 45km (and that's not including the numerous training walks!) is no easy task.
Antra, Debbie and Kelly would be extremely grateful (and infinitely more motivated!) if you were able to sponsor them in this endeavour. Any amount is appreciated, big or small. Every penny that's raised will go to 70th Woodside Village Community Scouts group.
