On Tuesday 25th June I will be attempting to play 8 rounds of golf in a single day at Rushcliffe Golf Club. My first drive will be at 4.00am with my last putt somewhere around 9.30pm (hopefully). Some quick facts about the challenge.

• I will walk and carry for all 8 rounds

• I will be putting out each hole

• Each round is approximate 3.5 miles long – so that’s 28 miles in total

• I will be accompanied by a volunteer who will be driving a buggy. They will record number of shots, timings etc. They will also carry drinks, spare balls etc

I am raising money for two charities.

• Leicestershire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre

• Nottingham Hospice

The monies raised will be donated in the memory of Lucy Fairbrother and Laura Hindson .
