I've raised £3000 to support rural children access education

We're looking to support 10 (was eight initially) children who need support with their education in Uganda. Each has their own story, which I'll tell one-by-one on www.facbook.com/youcanafrica. In the case of most, their mothers are struggling to keep them in school - they're doing well, so with some support imagine what their future's could be like? We are looking to get them sponsored (to join the other 25), however this is proving difficult. For now, I'm doing a fund raiser to cover the rest of this year and into 2025.
So what am I up for doing?! Well, I love chocolate and crisps, so for each £100 raised I'll give those up one week. Recently added alcohol for the next 10 weeks (weeks 11-20)... Caveat: family holiday and my 50th I might take a break :o)
If we find sponsors for any of these children or we raise more than the target we'll use the donations in one of two ways: i) to support business initiatives of the parents; or ii) support a new initiative in Ghana regarding education equality (a pilot project was successfully delivered earlier this year).
Thank you kindly for any donation that you can give!
