Hi, I’m Damian, and I am walking the West Highland Way to raise money for a cause very close to our hearts.

This isn’t a small challenge—I’ll be covering around 96 miles across the Scottish Highlands, over a few days, carrying my gear and camping along the way. It’ll be tough, but nothing compared to the challenges many families face every day.

My son, Elis, is autistic, and like many families, we’ve found so much comfort and support through local ALN/SEND stay-and-play and specialist groups. These spaces have helped him feel safe, understood, and free to be himself.

Through this challenge, we’re raising funds to give back—donating sensory toys and books to the very groups that have supported our family, and helping raise awareness for children like Elis.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go towards creating more inclusive, supportive environments for children with additional needs.
