Debbie Calton was a wonderful woman who I had the pleasure of working with. She was a much loved wife, mother, and nan. Debbie battled cancer and sadly for everyone she was taken from us all.

Debbie worked at a nursing home and I had the absolute pleasure of working with her. She always had a smile on her face and made the lives of the residents and staff better every day she was their. Even through her battle she refused to let it beat her and continued helping others.

Although Debbie is no longer with us her spirit and passion continue to live on in our residents and staff.

To comemererate how amazing impact and ensure her legacy lives on at South Africa Lodge we would like to put in place a memorial for her. Our aim is to positively benefit our residents the way Debbie did every day. Therefore we would like to build a garden house for them to enjoy all year round and ensure that, although not here, Debbie will always be bringing joy to those who need it most.

South Africa Lodge have generously offered to triple the money which we raise. We will be doing lots of fundraising events over the next few months. This will include myself doing a 10,000 ft SKY DIVE as well as car boots and other fun spirited events.

So please everyone lets get behind this amazing cause and spread the word for a truly inspirational woman who brought so much joy and happiness to everyone she met.
