A Walk for Janice

On 2nd May 2024, we lost our beautiful wife, daughter, sister, niece, auntie and friend, Janice Wright.

She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer with positivity, bravery and always with a smile on her face.

Even before her illness, Janice lived life to the full but even more so after her diagnosis. Nothing held her back. She especially loved walks with her wee Maisie and Leon to the most picturesque spots where Leon would be her personal photographer to get the scenic shots just right! And of course, early every morning she would be up ready for the day ahead to join her dad for a walk with the dogs around Oxford Island.

So it is only fitting that, to honour Janice’s memory and raise vital funds for charities close to her heart, we are organising a sponsored walk.

The walk will take place in Tollymore Forest Park on Saturday 14th September 2024. Janice loved Tollymore.

We will follow The River Trail which should take between 1.5hrs - 2hrs.

This will be a very inclusive and accessible walk, dogs (on leads), prams and children all welcome. We will be taking it at an easy pace and no doubt, stopping plenty to get those scenic shots she loved so much!
