My name is Walter Johnson and I am a Dulwich Hamlet fan. We are taking part in a sponsored walk/cycle over 130 miles for two causes which I will outline below.

Albrighton Community Fridge - It is unfortunate that we find ourselves in a cost of living crisis in 2023. The situation is exacerbated by the need for many local people to access food banks and community fridges on a daily basis. Recently this has resulted in the Albrighton Community Fridge being high demand for its services, with up to 100 families in need every day. ​ In March 2020, the centre became a Covid-Food Hub and the Community Fridge ramped up with more volunteers, longer opening hours, and a much wider range of goods. The fridge offers fresh fruit and vegetables, hot meals, frozen meat, bread, tinned goods and a limited selection of toiletries and sanitary products.

Altona 1893 - Altona are a much loved club from Hamburg in Germany. Dulwich Hamlet fans have developed a friendship with supporters of German club Altona 1893, as the two clubs were founded in the same year. This year both clubs celebrate our 130 year anniversaries, and this will be marked with a visit from Altona FC to Dulwich Hamlet in the summer. We are therefore raising funds to make a contribution to this visit.

1st April - Sponsored walk to Dartford (15 miles)

10th April - Sponsored walk to Hemel (15 miles)

22nd April - Sponsored walk to Hungerford (25 miles)

30th April - sponsored walk to Saltdean (25 miles)

14th May - sponsored walk to Millwall (5 miles)
