Story
We are raising money for His Mind FC, a football team put together to give men the chance to get involved in something physical, unique, and fun, in order to aid their emotional wellbeing.
His Mind was founded in 2022 with the aim of providing non-clinical support for men experiencing difficulties with their mental health. After some trials and some errors, His Mind FC was created late 2023 and now play regular football in the Leisure Leagues in Abingdon. We have a team of men who benefit massively from the football matches, and we continue to see development of their wellbeing. We also offer open access football drop in sessions on alternate Tuesdays.
The league charge £34 per game to cover operational costs etc, which can have a huge impact on a small organisation like His Mind, and our aim is to have matchday costs covered so involvement for the players can continue to be offered free of charge.
SOHA Housing supported His Mind FC last season and covered costs of matches, making a huge difference to the players involved.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated, Thank you 🤍
