We’re raising £2000 for a large scale school show

For many years The Avon Valley School and Performing Arts College has given its students the opportunity to perform on stage in large scale, high quality, school shows. In the academic year 2017/18 the school is intending continue this tradition by bringing another show to the stage.

Money kindly donated, via our JustGiving page, will directly benefit our students and will go towards covering the costs incurred when running a performance, which include:

• Obtaining performance rights
• Creating the set
• Purchasing costumes and props

Sponsorship
In August 2017, Mr Collins, the school’s subject leader for music will complete a gruelling endurance cycle route in order to raise funds for the school show.

Mr Collins will, for the second year running, take on the infamous 800km Haute Alps Cycle Route which begins in France and ends in Switzerland. The 2017 route, which features 22,200 metres of climbing, will test everyone in the 500-strong peloton over the intense 7 day event.
Any funds donated in sponsorship will go directly to the school performance.
