There are over 170 young, homeless people that live at the North London YMCA hostel in Crouch End. They are often bored and lack a sense of purpose in their lives and have little to do in their day, all of which leads to low self - esteem and an inability to actually move their lives forward. Having activities, such as film and photography workshops, at the hostel will reduce the cycle of boredom, enhance their skills & give them a way to express themselves through creativity.
