Hello! We're Africawad Recycling CIC and our aim here is to promote the education of young girls in Africa to help keep them in school and prevent them from getting married at a young age. We've already helped 32 girls in Togo and 25 girls in Sierra Leone!

We work with headteachers in schools from several west African countries to identify girls who are struggling to pay their school fees due to poverty or the child being an orphan. Once we identify the children we fund the school with money so they can still provide an education for them. This means that those struggling young girls won't be kicked out of school.

Girls who are kicked out of school at a young age often marry young and become fully dependent on their husbands. We need to act in order to prevent this from happening. The young girls cannot help themselves and their family and relatives cannot afford to pay for the education they so desperately need but for a one-off payment of £10 you can help send one of these young girls to school for the whole year.
