    Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page.
Agecroft Women's Squad has developed rapidly over the last 3 years, in numbers, and ability within the squad.
After a very successful 2015/16 season which culminated in a Henley Win and 2 Semi Finals, we are aiming to push the squad into further success in 2016/17 and beyond. We are working very hard towards the goal of winning at Henley in the Club 8 event, and some strong results at WEHORR and Met Regatta prior to that. To help support these goals we desperately need to update some of our boats, especially our 8s to enable us to get the most out of our training sessions and head into races with the best equipment available to us.
If we can upgrade our top boats, it means we can also upgrade the 2nd Eight boat and improve boat accessibility for the whole squad, which continues to grow; with a number of novices taking up the sport following Team GBs successful Rio Olympics.
Rowing is an expensive sport and the cost of a new 8 is significant, as a squad we are engaging in a number of activities to help reach this goal, whilst also looking for support from local businesses, generous donors, and anyone else who would be intrested in supporting, and following our exciting journey over the year. We will keep results, and news on the squad updated on our website, twitter and instagram page.
Our season has just started so we are currently getting back into daily training each evening, and long weekend morning sessions, we are more motivated than ever following the success of last season, and any donation, however small would be very gratefully received by the entire Womens Squad.
If you would like to donate a substantial amount please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Womens Captain at charlotte.grandfield@Hotmail.co.uk and she will be able to provide you with more details on how you can support us.
