I would like to tell you about my Bestest friend Ailsa. She is married with two young children, Oscar (8) and Evelyn (5). Whilst pregnant with Evelyn, Ailsa found a lump in her breast and after diagnosis of cancer she has fought an ongoing battle against it ever since. Over the past five years since her original diagnosis, she has raised thousands of pounds for prince Phillip hospital and MacMillan Cancer Care.
Even this week, after being told only a week ago that her cancer has spread, she has completed a 43 mile bike ride to raise more money for prince Phillip hospital, only four days before starting another round of chemotherapy, which will result in Ailsa losing her hair for the third time.
I believe now is the time for Ailsa to have a little something for herself. With the help of friends and family I propose to raise money for Ailsa to go to Disney in Florida with her husband Nathan and her two children, for a well earned break after she finishes this round of chemotherapy.

I think Ailsa and her family deserve this trip, after going through a difficult 5 years, and still remaining a strong and amazing inspiration to all, whilst still managing to be there for her friends and family, in her natural selfless ways.
