Dr Aisha Alzouebi (who sadly passed away recently) spent much of her childhood at Quba Mosque and Community centre in Sheffield. She subsequently went on to teach young children there for several years on a voluntary basis. Not surprisingly, many of her ex students have reached out deeply saddened by the news of her passing.

People's love for this centre and how much it serves the community is widely acknowledged. It is our hope that we are able to expand and renovate it in order to accommodate more visitors.

Aisha worked tirelessly to help fund renovations of the centre to provide others with the joy it gave her and her students.

We feel it would befit her memory and honour her legacy to contribute to this cause so that the work she did can continue.

We therefore invite you to contribute towards the expansion and renovation of Quba centre to provide a larger facility for visitors, particularly women and children.
