Dear Friends, Thank you for visiting my page. I met my husband Alan when he was just 15. He's now 46 and we have three children, two boys and a girl. Our middle child Jake has ADHD, Autism Spectrum and Eplilepsy. Our youngest Chloe is six years old. Alan is a real animal lover. We've got three rescue dogs and have had cats, rabbits, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters and rats. He's a real family man and has always worked hard for his family. He's a wonderful and devoted husband. In June 2016 I noticed a lump in his neck. We weren't too worried as he is generally strong, fit and healthy and there were no other symptoms. But a biopsy revealed Lung Cancer stage 4 - it had spread to his lymph nodes, chest and adrenal gland. We were told the cancer was inoperable and the only option was for palliative treatment. He endured a gruelling double dose of chemotherapy. He could only have four rounds. Then started on maintenance chemotherapy but the tumours were growing. Just before Christmas we got the devastating news it had spread to his brain. He was moved to a hospice and his condition got worse. He was barely awake and couldn't eat and the doctors said it was his last few days and to prepare the children. But then something incredible happened. On our daughters sixth birthday, a few days before Christmas Day, he started to rally. He sat up, got out of bed, pulled on some clothes and told the shocked doctors that he wanted to go home. He started steroids and got better each day. He was soon well enough to start more treatment again. He had radiotherapy and will have more chemotherapy. His fight has returned and he is determined to beat his illness, but his options are running out fast. In Germany there is a special cancer care clinic called Hallwang that provides immunology therapy and we've been told this our best - and last - chance. Unfortunately this life-changing treatment is not cheap and isn't available on the NHS. Please help us get him there. Much love Trina
