A massive earthquake in 2015 caused terrible destruction to wide areas of Nepal. Entire villages were flattened, over 8,900 people were killed, over 22,000 were left injured, over 600,000 homes were destroyed and 161 schools were damaged.
Please help me to raise these funds to travel to Nepal to help rebuild the lives of the Gurkha veterans, their families and their communities.
Since 1816 the Nepali Gurkhas have been Britains strongest ally in Asia. Today they remain an important part of the British army and they are renown for their bravery and loyalty to our country.
I am registered to travel to Nepal to work as a volunteer with these community projects with true adventures, but I need your help in making the trip possible. I hope you are kind enough to support me in this well deserved cause.
