    Story

So after the devastating news Mum followed the path that others have followed before her and as much as Mum doesn't want to know her complete prognosis I can't help but admire her attitude towards such A horrible, disgusting, relentless disease. She has received her chemo and has had astounding results which gave us all hope of further medical treatment to beat up the cancer even more, but all that the medical profession can do now is offer Mum palliative chemo, waiting for it to wake up again which is just not on as far as Mum is concerned!
Those of you that know my Mum know a) she isn't one to walk away from a fight b)she doesn't take things lying down so in complete defiance she continues to fight, she has revolutionised her diet and has become almost vegan in her approach to food and drink and has gone organic and is taking various additional supplements and researching many different 'cures & therapies' to which we have found a real tangible chance for Mum to kick her cancers butt and be around to tell everyone 'I told you I would beat it!'
The only downside to this treatment is its not available on the NHS and is going to cost a fortune, so as a family we have set up this page to help raise the money to give Mum the chance she deserves.
We will be raising money through different initiatives and welcome any ideas and really hope we can count on your support through the next stage of Mums fight!

In February this year, we had the devastating news that My amazing Mum, Caryl, was diagnosed with Stage 4 inoperable lung cancer. I won't go into it too much more as Mums mantra is: 'I don't want to know how ill I am until I actually feel as unwell as they expect me to be!"
