Hi! I'm Amelia. I'm 11 years old.

Back in 2019, when I was 8, with the help of my friend Louis, my couisn Nat and my Dad’s friend Gregg and my Dad I hiked to Mount Everest Base Camp to help raise awareness and funds for Hand to Paw .

Using the Just Giving platform we successfully raised £825 🙌

A few months ago I was invited to join Karen Darke MBE, a Paralympic cyclist, paratriathlete, adventurer and author to hike to the roof of Africa.

karen is hand-cycling from Nairobi to Mt Kilimanjaro- Then summiting the moutain! #beastmode in collaboration with global charities VOSAP and WJD supporting mental health.

I accepted the challenge!

I love and care about animals and have dedicated this Mt Kilimanjaro trek to raising awareness and funds for our local chiang Mai dog charity Hand to Paw.

I will try my best to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in August and hope that with each step I take you will donate funds so together we can prevent animal suffering and help local communities through giving funds to Hand To Paw.

Karen’s film crew will be on the adventure making a documentary about her Intrepid Journey. I will try to keep up as Karen arm 💪 powers herself up the moutain in her offroad wheelchair.

Mount Kilimanjaro is 5,895 meters or 19,340 feet above sea level making it the highest point in Africa.
