Story

Andrea Davis was a committed champion of victims of domestic violence, she spent the majority of her working life helping women on the path to a better life through her employement at Women’s Aid.

Andrea lost her 3 year battle with cancer and so to honor all the work she did and continue her legacy, a fund has been created in her name.

Andreas fund is a source of emergency money available to women in need of immediate help. The fund provides support at the first point of contact Women have with service providers Birmingham and Solihull women’s Aid when women are fleeing domestic violence, helping them on their first step on the path to a better life.

The impact of help at this time is crucial, often at this point people have had to leave the entirety of their lives behind to seek refuge.

In Birmingham and Solihull 109,000 women and girls are effected by domestic violence and abuse each year.

Your support is greatly received and we know Ange would have been honoured by this initiative and delighted to recieve contributions that see this project make a real difference to many women’s path to a better life.
