I've raised £5000 to Help fund a new kitchen for ESSC Maria’s New kitchen

GET MARIA THE KITCHEN SHE DESERVES!
Thanks to the generosity of Howden's in Wokingham, we have the opportunity to enhance the kitchen facilities at Emmbrook Sports and Social Club (ESSC), so that Operations Manager Maria Nunes and her team can offer a wide range of food options for patrons.
The ESSC are looking to extend the existing kitchen and relocate their cellar as part of the programme of works. This will allow more space for Maria and her team for food services and mean that storage in the cellar can be more efficient.
With funds still tight after difficult trading times during the Covid Pandemic, the ESSC are appealing to patrons to help fund the required building work, which will benefit the members of both Wokingham & Emmbrook Football Club (WEFC) and Emmbrook & Bearwood Cricket Club (EBCC). Target £5, 000
Mark Ashwell, President of WEFC and Paul Hunsdon, Chair of EBCC met with Maria Nunes recently to offer their full support to the project.
Ashwell commented "Both WEFC and EBCC are delighted to hear of the plans to enhance the kitchen facilities at ESSC, Maria and her team work tirelessly in a restrictive space presently, so the news that Howdens are willing to provide fully updated kitchen facilities is fantastic news and we hope our members and supporters who hold Maria so close to their hearts will support the building development by donating to the fund raising.
The plans are for the work to begin in early 2024 and any trade people connected with the club or live in the local area who are willing to help with the renovations would be warmly welcomed.
