Hello everyone!

Our names are Annabel Streete and Nikita Julius, and we are raising money to buy basic school items for orphanages in Tanzania.

We are currently on our gap years, and in January 2017 we are travelling to Tanzania for a month to volunteer in an orphanage. Thus, we thought it would be a good idea to buy classroom items and donate it to local orphanages that need it. These items can be anything like: whiteboards, pens, notepads, colouring pencils, reading books and other essential items.

We both consider ourselves advocates for human rights; Annie initiated an Amnesty International group in high school and Nikita was an avid member of Model United Nations. With our background in human rights, we strongly support the Millennium Development Goals (initiated by the UN) and want to contribute in whichever way possible. MDG2 is to 'achieve universal primary education', and by donating to our cause- you will be helping to facilitate this goal.
