The Ark animal rescue and retirement homes assistant manager Laura and her 8 year daughter are granddaughter and great granddaughter of the arks founder Pauline Rice. They are planning on doing the Lincoln inflatable 5k in July to raise much needed funds for the rescue.
The animal centre re homes hundreds of animals each year and has done this for the last 38 years.
All funds raised will help ease the every increasing bills.
