CULTISM AND THE NIGERIAN CHILD – EARLY INTERVENTION WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES

In line with Delta State government programme on CULTISM AND THE NIGERIAN CHILD and AHDDI themed EARLY INTERVENTION, we are holding a series of workshops and award ceremonies on the pilot projects listed in selected public schools in Asaba, Ibusa, Oko, Okpanam and Iselle-Azagba in Delta State, Nigeria:

1) Creative Arts and Crafts Competition

2) Debates

3) Sports Competitions

This projects include Youth focused awareness and intervention workshops and sports activities holding in October through November to explore the evils of Cultism, Trafficking, and related social vices that affect young people, and find solutions as protective factors in deterrence, reporting, engagement and diversionary activities, in ways that build their resilience, management and problem solving as unsuspecting and vulnerable young persons to enable them to say "No" to perpetrators' recruitment drives and enticing advances.

Prize Giving is billed to take place in a colourful ceremony in Asaba on the December 16th 2017 .

AHDDI is asking for donations from all Deltans towards achieving successful events to help combat the menace of cultism in Asaba, the sit of government and Delta State in general.

All Deltans are potential members of AHDDI by registration, giving time and resources to achieve the dream of a State that works for all and attracts investments, visitors and tourists.
