Story
I will be cycling the full East Coast of Yorkshire.
I will be doing this in aid of 2 charities the British Heart Foundation and Bradford hospital charities.
I was born with 3 congenital heart defects and had to have life saving surgery when I was just 11 days old. This operation was possible due to the work of both the British heart foundation and the NHS.
The British Heart Foundation fund and carry out vital research to improve the efficiency of Heart diseases being identified and to develop more effective treatments to help people effected with Heart disease go on to live a happy healthy life.
Bradford hospital charities help support and fund various projects and activities around the hospital. This helps support and improve patient care and experience. They help supply vital resources to wards and departments, they have also been featured on the BBC for the fantastic work they did provided the Bangings the Bear project to the children surgery ward.
So I would like to give something back to 2 amazing charities and prove that with the correct treatment and after care anything is possible.
