Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un - "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return."

On 6 November 2023 our friend, children's coach and student, Ataul Khan, passed away after suffering a brain haemorrhage. We pray that God accepts him into the highest levels of Paradise and showers His mercy on him. We pray that the family have patience and God makes it easy for them in this time of grief.

Ataul leaves behind a wife and three young children. Like any family when a husband and father suddenly passes away there will be trauma, which God-willing in time will become easier for them to bear.

The purpose of this funding page is a method for Ataul's friends to also express their grief and solidarity with the family and assist the family as much as they can. The family have not asked nor expressed any need for financial assistance. There is absolutely no compulsion on anyone to contribute, nor how much to contribute - everyone has different levels of means. A sincere and heartfelt prayer for the family would indeed be valuable and helpful.

As friends we need to remember Ataul and his family and not forget them, this will be a real test of friendship.

Funeral Details:

The Janazah Salah (funeral prayer) will be held on Thursday November 9th 2023 after Zohr Salah (midday prayer) 1:15pm at Croydon Mosque and Isalmic Centre. Address, 525 London Road, Thornton Heath CR7 6AR

After the funeral prayer he will be taken to Greenlawns Memorial Park. Address, 10 Chelsham Road, Warlingham CR6 9EQ for burial.
