For many years, I have suspected I am autistic or at least on the spectrum. I hyperfocus on my hobbies and school work growing up, hate change or things being sprung on me and have had mental breakdowns that have unfortunately led to me losing jobs. It has also placed pressure on many relationships.

I am diagnosed with severe General Anxiety Disorder,r, and I have had therapists in the past when being treated for anxiety, I point out I display many, many signs of autism. I have been put forward for NHS testing but once on the list, it was so long, I ended up losing my place on it.

I have found a specialist service that helps women with suspected autism get an assessment to assist with getting a formal diagnosis. This assessment, though, costs £700. This is why I am looking for help to get the money together.
