Story
This July Bikes Against Bullies are going on their grand Tour from Land’s End to John O’Groats on two 50cc Scooters. All for one very special reason. Each year at least 15 children commit suicide due to bullying in the UK. The whole aim of this amazing journey is to remember some of those victims who felt they had no other option but to sadly take their own lives due to bullying, whilst also showing the estimated 1.5 million children who are bullied each year that not only do we care, but we are here to help them find the support and help they need.
We aim to raise £2000, with this money we can recruit and fund a further young person to be a youth ambassador, working with us and our partners Bullies Out to raise the anti-bulling message within their local community. The money raised will also fund approximately 10 anti-bulling workshops which we deliver to schools and youth groups right across the UK at no cost to them.
Finally we hope the event will not only create a buzz within the motorcycle and scooter communities, but will also generate press attention to further raise the profile of our anti-bullying work and show young people and their families we care
