Here you have raised over £19k, and with more contributions off line, the project will more than double in size, due to your efforts. The project team will now start work, and initially that will be very quiet, we will not be publishing info about it yet, this is for the integrity of the project and to protect the fieldworkers. We are on the home straight, having exceeded our original goal and set ourselves a tougher challenge we are only just over 2k short. In addition we have received some offline donations. There are some big shout outs due, such as St Marys RC School for their Bake Sale and Probably Bird Society; but really the thing that stands out is the community - we are so pleased to be able to do something and it is you guys that are making it possible. Yes, we are trying to raise more! Following the early success of the fundraising, and the messages of support we have received we contacted the fieldworkers to confirm the next stages, and to discuss making the project bigger. We are excited to say that the initial work is underway and we have decided to up our target to enable the project to tag more birds.
