    Story

Bristol Barbarians broken into again !

Here at Bristol Barbarians our 'Much' loved rugby club has been broken into yet again. This has occurred so many times over the past few years we have lost count. The club members always step up and all trades in the form of the players, their families and supporters arrive to "patch up" the clubhouse once again. Whilst there's always a team spirit in this there is also heavy hearts. Heavy hearts because we just know our clubhouse won't withstand much more of this abuse.

We are under no illusion that we desperately need a new clubhouse but to the tune of £108,000 this seems only a pipe dream. We have many things planned to try to raise some of this money from fun days to sponsors from big companies and funding schemes, however, £108,000 is a lot of money so we've set up a crowd funding page in case anyone feels they would like to help us out. If you've ever visited our ground you know what a fantastic group of people we have and if you haven't please come on up to watch a game and join us for a pint or two afterwards where you will be made to feel most welcome.

The Clubs dream is to build a new clubhouse with improved facilities to not only benefit the teams playing but also the local community who regularly hire the facilities for meetings, events such as Birthday parties, toddler groups and other sporting activity.

The new clubhouse will provide a sheltered viewing platform for spectators which will significantly enhance the spectator experience.

    Our future aims:
    • Apply for RFU Club Accreditation (Already achieved).
    • Raise sufficient funding to allow construction of a new clubhouse.
    • Construct the new clubhouse.
    • Make the club more accessible for those with disabilities.
    • Improve the car parking and condition of access road.
    • Utilise the new facilities for community projects/groups.
    • Stabilise the financial position of the club.

Your support would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Hi everyone, BBRFC are in great need of a new clubhouse by 2020. Due to repeated vandalism and general wear and tear the old clubhouse is on its last legs. We would really appreciate our communities help on this project to build and open the new clubhouse in 2020. Thank you.
